Sometimes it is good to go straight to the source.
And listening to the guy who wrote the book on PPC research brief his affiliates on the best ways to promote his product is probably worth a lot more than me trying to paraphrase it in a blog post.
Not that I am not a witty and entertaining writer of course 
It’s just that I get bored of the sound of my own voice ( or typed words in this case ), and we will all probably have a better time just listening to this straight up.
You may have heard of Dr. Glenn Livingston, I have mentioned him a few times in my posts,
Simply because he knows his stuff when it comes to market research and PPC in particular.
So if he’s doing a call showing his affiliates the best ways to market for him, it’s a pretty good bet that it’s going to be the best info he’s got.
